The Customs Team 🛃

The Customs team is part of our Operations department. Our Customs Declarants do not just manage customs formalities for our clients; they are true partners, supporting them on all customs aspects.

Key interlocutors: internally, the Operations and Sales teams. Externally: our clients and customs administrations.

The team's challenges in 2026:

• Maintain and improve customs compliance,

• Strengthen our operational efficiency,

• Support volume growth through increased internalization of declarations

• Increase customs expertise within the team

Your missions as a Customs Declarant

👉 Management of customs formalities (60%)

• Establish and verify customs documents (invoices, certificates, licenses...)

• Enter declarations into customs IT systems (import, export, transit)

• Classify goods according to customs nomenclatures

• Manage customs files in port systems (S)ONE, Ci5)

• Calculate applicable duties and taxes

👉 Support and advice to clients and Internal teams (20%)

• Advise and support clients or internal departments in customs procedures

👉 Relationship with authorities and regulatory compliance (10%)

• Manage relationships with customs administrations

• Negotiate any potential adjustments

• Ensure regulatory monitoring of developments in customs laws and regulations

• Respond to requests from customs authorities

👉 Continuous improvement and process optimization (10%)

• Perform internal audits to ensure the compliance of declarations with customs regulations

• Identify and prevent risks related to customs operations

• Propose improvements to gain efficiency and productivity
