Purchasing and Foreign Trade Analyst / International Purchasing

Our Client, an Important Company in the Industrial Sector, is looking for a Purchasing and Foreign Trade Analyst.

What will your challenge be?

Manage the purchasing process, mainly with international suppliers, performing the planning and follow-up of purchase orders, as well as coordinating the import and nationalization process, ensuring timely supply and adequate cost management.

Main Functions:

• Analyze merchandise replenishment considering demand projections, inventory turnover, and safety stock levels.
• Issue and follow up on purchase orders with local and international suppliers.
• Validate commercial conditions such as prices, terms, Incoterms, and payment methods.
• Monitor delivery times and manage stockout or overstock alerts.
• Coordinate the integral import process: booking, documentation, international transit, and nationalization.
• Negotiate rates and shipping conditions with freight forwarders.
• Coordinate with customs agents for the nationalization of merchandise.
• Calculate and control costs associated with imports: freight, insurance, tariffs, and port expenses.
• Coordinate with Warehouse for the reception of imported merchandise.
• Coordinate with Commercial regarding purchasing needs related to campaigns, seasonality, and launches.
• Propose improvements aimed at optimizing supply times and reducing logistics costs.

What are we looking for?

• Graduate in Industrial Engineering, Administration, International Business, or related careers.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions.
• Experience in international purchasing and import processes.
• Experience in companies within the industrial sector or related.
• Advanced Excel.
• Advanced English (Indispensable)
• ERP management.
• Analytical capacity and results orientation.
• Negotiation and communication skills with suppliers and international counterparts.
• Ability to manage simultaneous requirements, prioritize, and coordinate with different areas.
• Orientation toward learning, continuous improvement, and good relationships with internal clients and suppliers.

Working conditions:

• Workplace: Magdalena del Mar, Lima.
• Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Remuneration according to the market.
• General regime payroll.
• Fixed-term contract, renewable every 6 months.
• EPS: 70% coverage for the employee and direct dependents.
• Profits: according to the company's generation and in accordance with the law.
