Senior Project Delivery Professional – BAE Systems

Location: Warton Contract: 12 Months Rate: £41.85 per hour PAYE or £56.41 via umbrella (inside IR35) Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday Working Pattern: Minimum 3 days onsite per week Security: BPSS & SC in progress

The Opportunity

BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Project Delivery Professional to support a number of projects within the Air Sector at Warton. The successful candidate will work within multi-disciplinary teams, helping ensure projects are delivered to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Control and monitor projects, reporting progress against plan.
• Work with customers, subcontractors and stakeholders to achieve project deliverables.
• Manage emerging project risks and opportunities.
• Support bid and tendering activities.
• Develop estimates for bids, budgets and cost-to-completion.
• Review and evaluate spend-to-date data.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across the business.
• Ensure customer and business requirements are met.

Essential Experience

• Experience in a similar role working on complex projects .
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience managing project delivery across time, cost and quality.

Desirable:

• Experience working within a complex environment.
• Degree or equivalent experience in a business-related subject.
• Formal project management qualification or working towards one.
• Defence/aerospace experience is not essential.
