RCM Engineer

BAE Systems | Contract Opportunity Barrow, Brough, Filton 12 Month Contract 37 Hours per week 2/3 Days per week onsite £53.73 PAYE or £72.54 Umbrella

We are currently seeking an experienced RCM Engineer to join a major defence programme supporting complex submarine systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) and maintenance derivation activities.
• Produce and support Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) outputs.
• Develop maintenance schedules and support strategies.
• Work closely with engineering, safety and support teams.
• Review maintenance requirements and equipment reliability data.
• Ensure compliance with relevant MoD and industry standards.
• Support through-life engineering and maintenance solutions.

What We're Looking For

• Experience delivering RCM and maintenance derivation activities.
• Background within defence, nuclear, marine or other highly regulated industries.
• Understanding of Availability, Reliability and Maintainability (AR&M).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with customers and stakeholders.
• Experience using UMMS and Trilogy is desirable.

Desirable Experience

• Submarine maintenance or nuclear operations background.
• Knowledge of JSP 935, Def Stan 00-055 and IEC 61508.
• Experience within Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) environments.
