About the position

As a Packing Operator, you are responsible for the correct packaging of our stainless steel coils. You will work on a semi- and fully automatic packing line and ensure that everything is ready for a safe and efficient shipment of our product.

What will you do?

• Operating the semi- and fully automatic packing line
• Ensuring the necessary auxiliary materials are available for packaging
• Checking data on the coil and creating labels
• Transporting strips to the floor scale or packing line
• Processing data regarding stock locations and weights in the system
• Assisting with the maintenance of the packing line
• Thinking along and contributing to continuous improvement projects

What do we ask of you?

• A completed technical education at MBO-level 3, or demonstrably equivalent working and thinking level
• Proficiency in the English language
• You are a proactive team player with an eye for safety, quality, and accuracy
• You have technical insight and the motivation to further develop yourself
• Experience with the forklift is required - a certificate is a plus, or willingness to obtain this via Outokumpu
