StaffPoint is now seeking SKI INSTRUCTORS for the 2026-2027 winter season. Work begins in November and continues until the end of the slope season, approximately until April. The number of working hours will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. We also hire hourly instructors for the winter on gig contracts, according to your own availability.
The employment relationship is concluded between the employee and StaffPoint. The Lapland Hotels chain is a smoke-free workplace.

We require:
- At least Shoryn or Shkyn course I
- Skiing and snowboarding skills
- Customer-oriented thinking and a service-minded attitude
- A proactive attitude, sense of humor, and initiative
- Flexibility and teamwork
- Fluent English skills, other language skills are a plus.
We consider it an advantage if you have:
- Interest in slope sports as well as your own hobbyist experience
- Experience in ski resort work
- EA1 or EA 2, or equivalent knowledge and skills
Ounasvaara Ski Resort is located right next to the city center. Nowhere else in Finland are a ski center, wilderness nature, and the city's abundant range of services located so close to each other, all just a few kilometers or minutes away from one another. On the north slope of the hill resembling a small fell, you will find a cozy ski resort where a relaxed and international winter center atmosphere is enjoyed. The ski resort has all the services needed for skiing, as in addition to the slopes and equipment rental, the center also has a ski school and the slope restaurant Alpenjäger.

Ounasvaara Ski Resort / Ounasvaara Ski Resort
Ounasvaara Ski Resort is located almost a stone's throw away in the center of the city of Rovaniemi. On the north slope of Ounasvaara, which resembles a small fell, there is a cozy and modern ski resort where you can ski, snowboard, cross-country ski, or just enjoy a relaxed and international winter center atmosphere. The slopes of Ounasvaara Ski Resort are suitable for both beginners and more advanced skiers. Additionally, the center features Rendin Lumimaa, which is particularly suitable for beginners and tourists. Ounasvaara Ski Resort has everything needed for skiing, as in addition to the equipment rental, the center also operates its own ski school and slope restaurant.
Ounasvaara's approx. 100 km of cross-country skiing tracks are part of the city's over 200 km track network. In addition to the Ensilumenlatu (First Snow Track) opening at the end of October and other tracks, Ounasvaara offers magnificent scenic locations along the way. Ounasvaara Ski Resort operates Cafe-Tottorak located near the Tottorak lower station. Ounasvaara rises to a height of over 200 meters above sea level. The vertical drop (HD) is 140 m and the longest of the groomed slopes is 600 meters.
