About Otto Tiles
Otto Tiles is a growing ecommerce tile company supplying customers across the UK and internationally. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team in Ashford and support the day-to-day movement, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of our products.
This is a physical, active role that requires someone who takes pride in keeping a warehouse organised, working accurately and safely, and making sure customer orders are prepared and dispatched correctly and on time.
The Role
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operation of the warehouse, including receiving stock, putting products away, picking and packing customer orders, preparing shipments and maintaining an organised and safe working environment.
You will work closely with the warehouse team and management to ensure orders are processed efficiently and stock is handled carefully.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming deliveries and shipments
- Check deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation
- Inspect incoming stock for damage or discrepancies
- Put stock away in the correct warehouse locations
- Pick products accurately against customer orders and picking lists
- Pack customer orders securely and appropriately for shipment
- Prepare orders for courier and freight collection
- Load and unload vehicles safely
- Move stock around the warehouse using appropriate equipment
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks and forklifts once certified
- Maintain accurate stock locations and assist with stock counts and inventory checks
- Report damaged, missing or incorrect stock to management
- Assist with warehouse transfers and stock movements
- Help maintain an organised and efficient warehouse layout
- Keep warehouse areas clean, tidy and free from hazards
- Follow all warehouse health and safety procedures
- Handle tiles and other products carefully to minimise breakage and damage
- Assist with returns, damaged goods and customer order issues where required
- Assist with preparing pallets and shipments for larger trade and commercial orders
- Support loading, unloading and warehouse consolidation projects when required
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse team members to meet daily priorities and dispatch deadlines
- Carry out other reasonable warehouse duties as required
Forklift Certification
The successful candidate must be willing to obtain forklift certification.
Previous forklift experience is beneficial, but it is not essential if you are willing and able to complete the required training and certification. Once certified, you will be expected to safely operate a forklift as part of your warehouse responsibilities.

Previous warehouse, logistics, stockroom, fulfilment or forklift experience is preferred but not essential. A positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are equally important.
Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on warehouse position. The role involves regular standing, walking, lifting, carrying, loading and unloading of products, including boxes and pallets of tiles. Candidates should be comfortable performing physical warehouse duties safely and using appropriate manual handling techniques.
