*Job Description*

The forklift operator position at Ottawa Logistics encompasses the picking, prepping and staging of LTL orders, unloading of sea containers and truckloads, and general warehouse operations.

• Operate forklifts (counterbalance, narrow aisle reach, walkies, order pickers) to move, load, and unload product.
• Pick, stage, and organize inventory with accuracy and efficiency.

• Support inbound and outbound workflows.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and follow safety procedures.

• Work closely with warehouse leads and teammates to maintain a clean, efficient, and organized environment.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed.

*Requirements*

• 1+ years' experience in operating forklifts.
• Willingness to be certified (covered by OL).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet.
• Flexibility in day-to-day tasks (priorities may change quickly).
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
• Competent with basic technology (computers and scanners)
