We are seeking a full-time EXPERIENCED Bagel Roller and Baker to join our team. As a key member of our bakery, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, and maintaining the highest quality bagels for our customers. *The ideal candidate MUST have prior experience in professional from scratch bagel baking and experience in using a wood fired oven.*

*Responsibilities:*

• Prepare, hand shape, and bake bagels using traditional methods;
• Prepare dough ensuring all recipes and methods are adhered to in order to consistently produce a high quality bagel;
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment;
• Assist with inventory management and ingredient preparation as needed;
• Provide excellent customer service when needed, maintaining a friendly, welcoming environment for our customers;
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including food handling and sanitation.

*Qualifications:*

• *Proven experience as a scratch baker,* with direct experience with bagels
• *Experience working with a wood-fired oven is a MUST*
• A passion for baking, with a strong attention to detail and an understanding of the process;
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays (as needed);
• A team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude;
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods, rolling and handling dough;
• Although this is a hands on baking position, prior supervisory and baking team leadership experience will be taken into consideration in our hiring & compensation process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
