Your tasks

The role combines accounting and tax support with direct collaboration and communication with clients, offering the opportunity to specialize in the needs and processes of public sector entities.

As a member of our team, you will contribute to the reliable and timely accounting and tax support of our clients.

Your core responsibilities will include

• Carrying out accounting tasks and participating in accounting closing processes
• Checking accounting data and performing account reconciliations
• Preparing financial statements and accounting reports
• Providing support on tax matters
• Monitoring legislative changes and assessing their impact on our service subject matter
• Communicating with clients, monitoring pending items, and ensuring the quality and timely completion of the tasks you undertake

Requirements

As part of our team's development, we are looking for Accounting Consultants, with at least three years of professional experience in the accounting industry, who want to leverage their accounting and tax knowledge in a more specialized advisory environment, while simultaneously expanding their expertise.

It is not necessary to have prior experience in all the above tasks. You will leverage your existing experience and, with the support of the team, you will gradually become familiar with the more specialized requirements of the subject matter.

What you need to have

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the accounting industry (optionally in an accounting firm)
• Good knowledge of accounting and tax legislation
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Completed military obligations
• Ability to travel, when required

Will be appreciated additionally

• Previous experience in an accounting firm
• Right to sign as an accountant-tax technician
• Interest in further development of accounting and tax specialization
• Driver's license

The salary range for the position is €1,400 to €1,600 gross monthly for professionals with at least 3 years of work experience in the accounting industry. Each salary proposal is personalized, formulated after the completion of the overall assessment of each candidate, and harmonized with all provisions of the law regarding remuneration.

Other

The position is full-time, either with physical presence at our offices in Thessaloniki, or with a hybrid work model in Heraklion, Crete, which includes remote work, as well as physical presence at our clients' facilities.
