Senior Insurance Product Development & Regulatory Documentation Specialist
Role Purpose We are seeking a qualified professional to support the development, localization, technical review, translation, and regulatory preparation of insurance products introduced from international markets for offering in the Egyptian insurance market. The role requires a strong combination of insurance technical knowledge, professional Arabic–English translation and drafting skills, and a sound understanding of the Egyptian insurance regulatory environment and FRA product approval requirements. Job Responsibilities Review international insurance products, policy wordings, clauses, endorsements, applications, and related technical documentation.
Professionally translate insurance policy wordings and technical documents from English into Arabic and vice versa while preserving their legal and technical meaning.
Localize and adapt international insurance products to suit the Egyptian insurance market rather than relying on literal translation.
Review policy terms, conditions, definitions, exclusions, warranties, extensions, limits, sub-limits, deductibles, and other contractual provisions for technical and linguistic consistency.
Coordinate with Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance, Legal, Compliance, Actuarial, and other relevant functions during the product development and review process.
Prepare and structure insurance product documentation in accordance with Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) requirements.
Perform a final technical, linguistic, and documentation review before submission of products to the FRA for approval/registration.
Review and address FRA observations and coordinate required amendments until completion of the regulatory approval process.
Maintain proper records and version control of approved products, policy wordings, regulatory correspondence, and subsequent amendments.
Monitor relevant regulatory developments affecting insurance products and policy wording requirements.
Support the periodic review, enhancement, and updating of existing insurance products and policy wordings.
Bachelor’s degree in insurance, Law, Business Administration, Commerce, Languages/Translation, or a related field.
Preferably 3–5 years of relevant experience within an insurance company, insurance broker, regulatory environment, or insurance consultancy.
Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty / General Insurance products and insurance terminology.
Previous experience in Underwriting, Product Development, Technical Affairs, Policy Administration, or Regulatory Affairs is highly advantageous.
Excellent command of Arabic and English, particularly professional written drafting.
Demonstrated ability to translate and draft complex insurance and contractual wording accurately and professionally.
Good understanding of the Egyptian insurance regulatory environment and FRA requirements is highly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify ambiguity, inconsistency, translation errors, and technical gaps.
Strong Microsoft Word skills, including document formatting, comparison, Track Changes, and version control.
