Payroll Analyst - On site

Job Description

We are looking for a Payroll Analyst to join our team in Bogotá - Conecta 80. This person will be responsible for the comprehensive and full cycle payroll management (from the registration of news/updates to closing and payment), including leaves, absenteeism, and compliance with Colombian labor legislation, working hand in hand with the Operations and WFM teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processes.

Main Functions

• Manage the full cycle payroll, from the registration of news/updates to the final closing and processing.
• Accurately register in Buk all events that impact payroll within the established timelines.
• Manage common and labor medical leaves.
• Manage maternity, paternity, bereavement, and domestic calamity leaves.
• Process requests for paid and unpaid leaves.
• Validate supporting documentation for absences, disabilities, and other types of leave.
• Coordinate with Operations and WFM the reconciliation of attendance information against payroll data.
• Support payroll closing and pre-processing validations.
• Attend to and resolve employee inquiries and tickets related to payroll.
• Identify inconsistencies and execute the corresponding corrections in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with Colombian labor legislation related to absences, leaves, and payments.
• Monitor payroll errors, root causes, and corrective actions.
• Maintain complete and auditable records of all processed events.
• Support continuous improvement and automation initiatives for the payroll process.
• Comply with and enforce information security policies.

Requirements

• Education: Professional or technologist in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, Payroll, or related careers.
• Experience: 2 to 3 years in payroll processes, ideally with full cycle payroll management, preferably in companies with high personnel volume.
• Knowledge of Colombian labor legislation related to payroll, absences, and leaves.
• Knowledge of medical disability processes, maternity, paternity, and domestic calamity leaves.
• Management of payroll/HRIS systems; experience with Buk is a plus.
• Intermediate-advanced Excel.
• Basic knowledge of social security and labor benefits.
• Experience in BPO or exposure to 24/7 operations is desirable.
• English level B1+.
