Head of Automotive Project Engineering (m/f/d)

For over 50 years, we have been a reliable partner, developer, and producer for the automotive and commercial vehicle industry and its suppliers. For the earliest possible start date, we are looking for one Head of Automotive Project Engineering (m/f/d) on a full-time basis (40 hours/week). Your area of responsibility includes:

º Technical and organizational management of the Product Engineering department

º Support and coordination of projects with OEM and Tier-1 customers

º Leadership, support, and further development of the 5- to 8-member Project Engineering team

º Ensuring compliance with schedule, cost, and quality targets

º Preparation of reports and regular reporting to the management

º Active further development of processes, standards, and documentation

º Promotion of goal-oriented and constructive cooperation within the team

Your competencies

º Completed technical training

º Several years of professional experience in project management, preferably in the automotive environment

º Good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS-Project

º Basic CAD knowledge

º Good written and spoken English skills

º Experience in the leadership and coordination of employees

º Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working

º Strong communication personality with a holistic, sustainable mindset as well as strong team orientation
