Your tasks

These tasks await you

• You will create and revise technical drawings, construction documents, and schematic piping plans using AutoCAD, thereby laying the foundation for the successful implementation of demanding shipbuilding projects.
• A trained eye for detail is required: When reviewing technical documents, you will ensure that quality requirements and construction standards are met.
• For reliable material planning, you will create and maintain bills of materials in the ERP system, ensuring transparent processes in production.
• Technical documentation is also within your area of responsibility: You will integrate supplier documents into Autodesk Productstream Professional and ensure structured data management.
• As an important interface between design and production, you will promote professional exchange and contribute to efficiently implementing technical requirements in practice.
• Whether weight calculations or the creation of quantity frameworks – with your support, you will provide designers with valuable decision-making bases for further project planning.

Requirements

These skills speak for a perfect fit

• Your professional basis is completed further training as a technician in the field of shipbuilding technology or mechanical engineering, or a completed engineering degree in the field of shipbuilding and marine technology, maritime technology, or mechanical engineering.
• You are confident in using AutoCAD and ideally bring additional knowledge in 3D-CAD design.
• Initial experience in technical design, preferably in shipbuilding or maritime plant engineering, is an advantage and will enable you to start quickly in projects.
• You are familiar with the creation and maintenance of bills of materials as well as technical document management; knowledge of Autodesk Productstream Professional is a plus.
• Thanks to good technical English skills, you can confidently understand and process technical documents in English.
• A careful and structured way of working, analytical thinking, and enjoyment of cross-departmental cooperation complete your profile.
