These skills indicate a perfect fit:

• A degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field forms the ideal foundation for this position. Alternatively, you bring a technical vocational training with additional commercial qualifications.
• Ideally, you have already gained experience in technical controlling, calculation, or product controlling within an industrial company and are familiar with the economic relationships in mechanical and plant engineering.
• Technical drawings and manufacturing processes are familiar to you. As a result, you understand the connections between design, production, and costs and can evaluate them confidently.
• MS Excel is part of your daily toolkit. Ideally, you also bring experience with Access or comparable database and reporting solutions.
• Analytical thinking, affinity for numbers, and a structured way of working characterize you as much as good English skills. With your communicative nature, you work successfully with technical and commercial departments.

• Profitability begins with sound calculation: You create pre- and post-calculations for machines and plants and provide reliable decision-making bases for sales, project management, and manufacturing.
• You penetrate cost structures in detail. You continuously analyze purchasing parts, manufacturing costs, and production processes and identify potential for cost optimization.
• With meaningful evaluations, product statistics, and ad-hoc analyses, you create transparency and support departments in making sound economic decisions.
• As an interface between design, purchasing, manufacturing, and controlling, you combine technical understanding with business management know-how and successfully bring different perspectives together.
• You actively accompany monthly closings, reportings, and business evaluations, thereby making an important contribution to meaningful financial and project controlling.
