These skills indicate a perfect fit:

• You have further training as a technician (m/f/d) in the field of shipbuilding technology, mechanical engineering technology, or mechatronics, or you have a successfully completed degree in shipbuilding and marine technology, maritime technology, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
• Ideally, you bring experience in the development, design, or integration of technical systems and feel at home in the project-oriented environment of shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, or plant engineering.
• Confident use of 2D and 3D CAD systems is part of your toolkit. Knowledge of Siemens NX, CADMATIC, or AVEVA E3D is an advantage and will support you in efficient project processing.
• You think analytically, work in a structured manner, and enjoy taking on responsibility. You also solve complex technical issues with a practical and economical approach.
• Personally, you convince through strong communication skills, team spirit, and initiative. Very good English skills enable you to collaborate confidently with international customers, suppliers, and project teams.

These tasks await you:

• You take on technical responsibility for various equipment systems – for example, mooring equipment, lifts, corrosion protection, or stabilizer systems – and accompany them from the initial concept idea to successful commissioning. In doing so, you make a significant contribution to the realization of innovative shipbuilding projects.
• Even in the concept and preliminary design phase, you develop technical system solutions, design them, and work together with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to bring your ideas to optimal implementation.
• You create technical specifications, define system requirements, and thus create the basis for economical procurement as well as the smooth integration of all components.
• As a central interface, you coordinate the detailed design, manage external partners, and ensure that technical requirements, deadlines, and interfaces are reliably implemented.
• During the installation, testing, and commissioning phase, you accompany the systems until successful acceptance, create test and verification documentation, and ensure a successful handover to the customer together with all project participants.
