These skills indicate a perfect fit:

• You have further training as a technician (m/f/d) in the field of mechanical or shipbuilding technology or a completed degree in shipbuilding and marine technology, maritime technology, mechanical engineering, plant engineering, or a comparable field.
• Ideally, you bring experience in 3D design, space coordination, or the development of mechanical systems – preferably in a maritime environment or in comparable industrial projects.
• Using a 3D-CAD system is part of your toolkit. Knowledge of CADMATIC Outfitting and Siemens Teamcenter is an advantage but can be acquired as part of structured training.
• Thanks to your strong spatial imagination and technical understanding, you develop well-thought-out and economical design solutions even for complex installation situations.
• Personally, you convince through initiative, strong communication skills, and a structured way of working. You enjoy working interdisciplinarily and bring good English skills for collaboration in international project teams.

These tasks await you:

• You develop and coordinate 3D spaces in CADMATIC Outfitting and ensure that complex systems and components are integrated into demanding marine projects without collisions, suitable for assembly, and production-ready.
• Based on mechanical 2D schematic drawings, you create detailed 3D models for piping and duct systems and merge the designs of different trades into a technically consistent overall solution.
• In complex installation situations, you develop economical and practice-oriented solution concepts and coordinate these together with the involved specialist departments.
• In close cooperation with design, production, and project teams, you accompany the construction-related design, evaluate technical changes, and integrate them efficiently into the project progress.
• With your eye for technical connections, you optimize space concepts, create the prerequisites for smooth production and assembly, and make an important contribution to the successful completion of demanding shipbuilding projects.
