These skills indicate a perfect fit:

• You have further training as a state-certified technician, for example in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering, or a completed engineering degree, such as in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace engineering, defense technology, or industrial engineering.
• Several years of experience in configuration management enables you to confidently evaluate and effectively control complex product structures and technical change processes.
• Sound knowledge of established configuration processes as well as practical experience in configuration and change management form the professional basis for your activity.
• You work routinely with SAP, especially in materials management as well as in configuration and change management, and use the system purposefully to improve data quality and process reliability.
• A current certification according to CM2 or CMPIC 1–4 and 10 underlines your methodical competence in professional configuration management.
• Experience in planning and conducting configuration audits as well as in audit-proof documentation helps you to reliably secure development stages.
• Your structured way of working, your confident appearance in interdisciplinary decision-making rounds, as well as very good English skills and willingness to travel worldwide, round off your profile.

These tasks await you:

• You develop the configuration planning for projects and product teams and ensure that technical changes are implemented in a controlled, traceable, and uniform manner at all times.
• The structuring of complex products is at the center of your activity: You define the product structure for hardware and software, assign material and manufacturer part numbers, and create a reliable data basis for the entire product lifecycle.
• In the change control board, you contribute your professional perspective, manage change management, and establish binding specifications for quality, deadline, and cost-conscious implementation.
• By defining and monitoring configuration levels and construction states, you ensure that all project participants are working with the correct technical status at all times.
• You plan internal and external configuration audits, conduct them independently, and thus make an important contribution to the early detection of deviations and the securing of agreed processes.
• From configuration accounting to meaningful status reports and the release of project documentation, you ensure full traceability of development results and product-related documents.
• Furthermore, you continuously develop the configuration management system in SAP and convey your knowledge in training sessions so that specialist departments and project teams can apply the processes safely and efficiently.
