TRANSPORT DISPATCHER/DISPATCHER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Transport Dispatcher is responsible for the daily organization and arrangement of tours according to the orders of production and sales locations, as well as for efficient communication with drivers and other departments for the purpose of timely and high-quality transport execution.

• Receiving orders from internal departments (production, sales) and planning optimal routes
• Arranging tours with drivers and organizing transport in accordance with the vehicle fleet capacities
• Contracting transport services with external carriers as needed
• Communication with drivers during the realization of tours and coordination of all operational activities
• Monitoring and controlling driver performance and checking tachograph data
• Preparing and maintaining necessary transport documentation
• Resolving operational situations and potential complaints related to transport
• Ensuring the application of valid regulations in the field of road transport
• Cooperation with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the delivery process

REQUIREMENTS:

• SSS/VSŠ/VSS, preferably in the field of logistics, transport, or similar profession
• Previous work experience in similar positions is desirable
• Knowledge of one foreign language in speaking and writing
• Responsibility and conscientiousness in work, reliability
• Ability to resolve unforeseen situations
• Category B driving license
• Advanced computer skills
