Business Development Manager - International Environment M/F

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Join the International Environment Department of the Ortec Group and contribute to the development of projects with high environmental value! Specializing in waste management, industrial cleaning, soil & industrial site remediation, and environmental services, our teams support our clients in their environmental performance and sustainable transition challenges. We are looking for a Business Development Manager M/F to support the identification of new opportunities and accompany the development of our projects in Africa and other strategic markets. Your missions are organized around the following axes: Business Development and Strategic Intelligence

• Conduct active monitoring of markets, clients, competitors, and projects related to international environmental activities.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities, tenders, and prospects.
• Participate in the structuring of the commercial action plan and operational follow-up.

Tenders and Commercial Offers

• Ensure the follow-up of international consultations and tenders.
• Participate in the preparation of technical and commercial offers: costing, planning, analyses, and offer reviews.
• Guarantee the quality, consistency, and formatting of deliverables.

Client Relationship Development

• Prepare meetings with clients and prospects: analyses, presentations, and commercial support.
• Accompany the Department Director during commercial exchanges and negotiations.
• Ensure the follow-up of actions undertaken and contribute to partner loyalty.

Structuring and Steering Commercial Activity

• Develop and maintain commercial management tools and the CRM.
• Build dashboards and performance indicators.
• Ensure regular reporting to management on opportunities, ongoing projects, and commercial priorities.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

A graduate of a generalist Engineering School or one specialized in Environmental professions, with a real sensitivity to business development, or a Business School with a strong interest in technical and industrial activities, you have at least 3 years of experience in developing service activities for industrial clients. Knowledge of waste management, remediation, HP/THP industrial cleaning, sanitation, or more broadly environmental services is desired. Initial experience in an international context is a real asset. • Strong business development and opportunity detection capabilities.
• Good understanding of the technical challenges related to environmental and industrial activities.
• Experience in preparing commercial offers and responding to tenders.
• Mastery of CRM tools, notably Salesforce, as well as the Pack Office.
• Excellent interpersonal, writing, and organizational skills.
• Initiative, autonomy, and a result-oriented mindset.
• Your curiosity, your ability to create trusting relationships, and your taste for field work will allow you to actively contribute to the development of the department's activities.

Languages and Mobility

• Fluent English is imperative (written and oral).
• Proficiency in another language would be appreciated.
• High international mobility required to support the development of activities and participate in projects across the different geographical areas covered by the International Environment Department, mainly in Africa.
