The position:

Job Context

As part of the development of Orlade (part of Accenture) activities, we wish to recruit a Project Manager specialized in data center construction.

Integrated into our clients' teams, you will ensure the management of projects throughout all or part of their life cycle, from studies and pre-construction to works, testing, commissioning, and handover.

You will ensure compliance with cost, deadline, quality, safety, and performance objectives. You will also support project management and executive bodies in governance, arbitration, and decision-making.

Main responsibilities:

Manage construction projects in compliance with the scope, budget, schedule, and client requirements.

Define project objectives, milestones, responsibilities, and governance modalities.

Monitor progress, analyze the critical path, and implement necessary actions to prevent deviations.

Manage the budget, commitments, forecasts at completion, cash flows, and financial variances.

Control risks, changes, amendments, and their contractual, financial, and schedule impacts.

Manage interfaces between studies, procurement, works, technical lots, and commissioning.

Supervise the performance of companies, design offices, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with technical, regulatory, environmental, HSE, and quality requirements.

Prepare and lead project committees, COPIL, CODIR, and COMEX, then ensure the follow-up of decisions and action plans.

Produce reporting and executive summaries allowing management to anticipate difficulties and make appropriate decisions.

Support the client through to handover, the clearing of punch lists, and project closure.

Deploy project management methods and standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of practices.

Profile sought:

You have at least 8 years of experience in managing complex industrial construction projects, ideally acquired in data centers, critical infrastructures, or high-availability technical buildings.

Master's degree (Bac+5) in project management, construction engineering, civil engineering, or an equivalent field.

Proven experience in managing complex construction projects.

Experience in data center construction is strongly desired; experience in critical infrastructure, industrial buildings, or high-availability technical projects may also be considered.

Ability to understand the main technical challenges of a data center construction project and to communicate effectively with various business experts.

Good knowledge of the different phases of a construction project, from design to handover.

Proficiency in budget monitoring, scheduling, risk management, and change control.

Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Planisware.

Ability to work with project management, international clients, and executive bodies.

Leadership, autonomy, rigor, arbitration skills, and excellent analytical and synthesis skills.

English and mobility:

Professional proficiency in English is paramount and indispensable. The position involves meetings, presentations, contractual exchanges, and regular reporting in English.

Mobility throughout France is mandatory, with frequent travel to client construction sites.
