Management Accountant - Italian Speaking

Orka Financial is recruiting an Italian-speaking Management Accountant for a full-time, 12-month contract based in Theale, Berkshire. The role offers £40,000–£45,000 per annum and is available for an immediate start.

The opportunity

This assignment will suit a hands-on accountant who can support dependable month-end reporting while helping a finance team through a systems change. You will combine core accounting work with forecasting, order-to-cash activity and careful validation of migrated data.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accruals and prepayments at month end, supported by clear reconciliations.
• Assist with forecasting and explain movements against budget and previous periods.
• Support billing, cash allocation and query resolution across the order-to-cash cycle.
• Map information between finance systems and verify migrated balances and transactions.
• Complete balance-sheet reconciliations and investigate outstanding items.
• Contribute to management reporting and provide useful commentary on performance.
• Identify process gaps and help strengthen controls throughout the system transition.

About you

• Practical month-end experience, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Exposure to forecasting and variance analysis.
• A sound understanding of order-to-cash processes.
• Strong Excel skills, accuracy and close attention to detail.
• Finance-system migration experience is desirable.
• Progress towards an accounting qualification would be helpful.
