Financial Accountant

We are recruiting a Financial Accountant for an initial three-month assignment in the Heathrow area. The role offers a hybrid pattern, currently with two days in the office and three days working from home.

The opportunity

Joining a shared-services finance team, you will help keep the general ledger and reporting cycle running accurately and on time. This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable taking ownership of core financial accounting activity while working with colleagues across operations, planning and shared services.

What you will be doing

• Supporting the month-end close and preparing clear financial information for UK entities
• Owning balance-sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
• Producing monthly and quarterly reports and contributing to statutory submissions
• Supporting internal and external audit requests with accurate analysis
• Maintaining robust accounting records and improving day-to-day finance processes
• Helping with lease accounting and short-term finance projects as required

What we are looking for

• Strong practical financial accounting and general-ledger experience
• Qualified or qualified by experience
• Advanced Excel capability, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• Oracle Financials exposure would be useful
• A precise, organised approach and the confidence to work independently to deadlines
• Clear communication skills and experience working with a range of stakeholders

The daily rate is £225–£250. Applicants must be able to travel to the Heathrow area for the required office days.
