Orka Financial is currently partnering with a large global organisation that is looking to hire an EMEA Senior Financial Reporting Manager to lead its EMEA financial reporting function. This is a senior controllership role for someone who combines strong technical reporting expertise with confident leadership and a practical approach to improving finance operations.

You will take ownership of regional reporting, statutory compliance, audit delivery and balance-sheet governance across a complex group of legal entities. Alongside the core reporting agenda, you will play an important part in a wider finance transformation programme, helping to introduce more consistent processes, stronger controls and smarter use of systems, automation and AI.

Duties will include:

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycle across EMEA, setting clear timetables and resolving issues that could affect delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of entity and consolidated reporting, with particular focus on balance-sheet integrity, reconciliations and review controls.
  • Oversee statutory accounts and filing requirements across multiple jurisdictions, working with local advisers where appropriate.
  • Take the lead on regional audit activity, coordinating internal teams, external auditors and supporting evidence through to completion.
  • Strengthen the financial control environment by improving documentation, accountability and the resolution of audit or control findings.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team, including managers.
  • Represent EMEA reporting requirements with global and head-office stakeholders, offering clear judgement and constructive challenge.
  • Support the implementation of a new system and contribute to process design, testing and post-launch improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to standardise activity and use automation, data tools and AI to improve efficiency, control and reporting quality.

The role requires an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant from a practice background, with audit experience and subsequent industry experience. You will have substantial financial reporting and controllership experience gained in an international, multi-entity environment, together with direct ownership of statutory accounts, external audits and close processes across multiple entities or countries. You will also need a proven ability to lead and develop finance teams, ideally including experience of managing managers.

The position is based in Bracknell and offers hybrid working, paying up to £100,000 depending on experience, plus bonus.
