Your future workplace: Our international customer from the defense industry is looking for you full-time (40 hrs./week) as a Technical Writer Spare Parts (m/f/d). You will support an internationally active customer from the defense industry in western Munich in the creation and maintenance of spare parts documentation.

Your tasks:

• Creation, maintenance, and updating of technical documentation for products from KNDS, taking into account military standards, internal guidelines, and international specifications
• Maintenance and management of the associated spare parts and material data sets according to S2000M
• Preparation of technical illustrations for the spare parts documentation
• Analysis, evaluation, and processing of technical information from drawings, bills of materials, and manufacturer documents
• Checking, evaluating, and implementing change requests in the documentation process
• Ensuring the quality, completeness, and consistency of documentation and data sets
• Independent organization and coordination of project tasks within the scope of technical writing
• Coordination and collaboration with internal specialist departments, customers, suppliers, and external service providers

Your profile:

• Completed studies in Technical Writing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field; alternatively, technical training with relevant professional experience in technical documentation or spare parts management.
• Very good technical understanding as well as the ability to prepare complex technical matters in an understandable way
• Experience in the field of technical documentation as well as knowledge of relevant standards, especially ASD S2000M and B007
• Confident handling of editorial systems as well as tools for creating spare parts catalogs and technical illustrations (e.g., MatConf, IsoDraw, Corel Designer)
• Knowledge in the automotive, commercial vehicle, or defense environment as well as handling 3D data is an advantage
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
