Your future workplace: For our client, a renowned company in the defense industry, we are looking for a Technical Buyer (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date. The position will initially be filled within the framework of temporary employment. A later transition into a permanent employment relationship with our client is expressly not excluded and is intended if appropriate suitability is shown. Your tasks:

• Procurement of technical components, assemblies, and services, taking into account quality, costs, and deadlines
• Requesting, evaluating, and comparing offers as well as conducting price and contract negotiations
• Selection, evaluation, and development of suppliers
• Ensuring timely material availability in close coordination with the specialist departments
• Creation and processing of orders as well as monitoring delivery dates
• Clarification of technical and commercial issues with suppliers and internal contact persons
• Complaint management and initiation of appropriate measures in case of delivery deviations
• Analysis and optimization of procurement processes as well as identification of savings potential
• Maintenance of supplier and master data in the ERP system
• Close cooperation with the departments of Development, Production, Quality Assurance, and Logistics

Your profile:

• Successfully completed studies in the field of economics (Bachelor or Master) or completed commercial training, e.g., as an Industriekaufmann/-frau
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in technical purchasing
• Strong affinity for numbers, data, and analyses
• Very good knowledge of MS Office as well as the SAP-Modul MM
• Strong negotiation skills and a confident appearance
• Hands-on mentality as well as a pragmatic and solution-oriented way of working
• Very good English skills in spoken and written form
• Structured, independent, and reliable way of working
• High resilience as well as the ability to maintain an overview even in intensive work phases
• Teamwork skills, communication strength, and organizational talent round off your profile
