Your future workplace: We are looking for you as an Operational Buyer (m/f/d) in Wolfertschwenden at the earliest possible date.

Your tasks:

• Procurement of mechanical assemblies and drawn parts
• Independent execution of planning and scheduling tasks
• Checking and coordination of requirements
• Control and monitoring of delivery dates and deadlines
• Ensuring material availability in close coordination with production planning
• Obtaining quotations and maintaining material master data
• Complaint management and quality assurance in cooperation with Quality Assurance
• Inventory management
• Processing of supply chain disruptions
• Increasing the auto-ordering rate and monitoring system orders
• Supporting strategic purchasing in the further development of material and supplier management

Your profile:

• Completed commercial training, ideally with further training in the field of purchasing or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in operational purchasing, preferably in mechanical engineering
• Good technical understanding
• Independent and structured way of working with a high degree of responsibility
• Confident appearance, negotiation skills, and assertiveness
• Analytical, holistic, and solution-oriented thinking
• High willingness to learn, teamwork skills, and resilience
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
• Independent and goal-oriented way of working
• Proficient use of MS Office applications as well as ideally SAP experience in the MM module
