About the job –Ready for an international challenge? As a Field Service Technician, you are the expert in installing, maintaining, and repairing our advanced machines and installations at customer sites worldwide. For this, you will travel to locations in Europe, North America, and/or Asia. Thanks to your in-depth technical knowledge and experience, you ensure that our installations continue to function optimally. Assignments last approximately one to four weeks. Between assignments, you will be employed in our workshop in Bekkevoort.

Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of machines, installations, and systems on-site worldwide.
• Performing mechanical and electrical assembly.
• Testing systems and using control software.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults.
• Advising and supporting customers in the optimal use of the installations.
• Solid experience as a service technician or maintenance technician.
• Education, knowledge, and experience in (electro)mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, industrial electricity.
• A particular preference for international assignments: multiple times per year, for one to four weeks at a time.
• Strongly solution-oriented and highly independent.
• Good communication skills, particularly in English. Any other language is a major plus.
