IT Business Analyst

Scheme: Hybrid 3 times a week, Polanco Zone

Language: Advanced English

Extra: Availability to Travel.

Job Purpose

Responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to increase efficiency and productivity. Manages a portfolio of eCommerce/Omni projects and other business requests from initiation to execution, working with cross-functional teams, defining requirements, creating action plans, following up, mitigating risks, and ensuring the successful implementation of technological deliverables.

Critical Results

Build and maintain effective relationships with business partners.

Provide support in planning and operational preparation.

Develop and document business requirements and translate them into executable technical plans.

Train users in the productive use of systems.

Generate plans, follow up, and report project status to stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and gather business requirements.

Analyze technical/functional requirements and communicate options and solutions clearly.

Document current and future process models.

Propose and design technical and process solutions aligned with business objectives.

Coordinate with IT and other areas to implement solutions.

Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to stakeholders and executives.

Prepare detailed documentation of requirements, processes, and solutions.

Participate in testing and validation of systems and processes.

Identify continuous improvement opportunities in processes.

Key relationships: business users, global and local IT support teams.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience. Experience: Minimum 5 years in IT responsibilities and project management.

Knowledge and skills:

Advanced English (oral and written).

Intermediate level SQL.

Experience in eCommerce and retail (indispensable).

Knowledge in eCommerce OMS.

Vtex, Zendesk and CRM (preferably Cordial).

SAP desirable or experience in ERPs.

JIRA, Smartsheet and project management methodologies.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Analytical capacity and decision-making under pressure.

Experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

PMP desirable.

Organization, emotional intelligence, and management of multiple projects.

Adaptability, fast learning, and results orientation.

Problem solving and decision making

Decisions based on complete analysis of information and business priorities.

Contribution to critical programs and projects; errors can cause significant delays.

Provide technical solutions to complex problems, aligned with organizational objectives.

Promote process improvements for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

Working Conditions

Hybrid model: office and home office (minimum 3 days in office per week).

Location: offices in Mexico.

20% interaction with clients and suppliers, 80% office or remote work.

Physical activity: mainly office work (sitting).
