Foreign Procurement Section Head
Department: Procurement / Supply Chain Reports To: Procurement Manager Job Purpose Lead and manage foreign procurement activities, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant sourcing of materials and imported requirements while maintaining reliable international supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end foreign procurement cycle, from requisition to delivery.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with international suppliers.
Manage supplier performance, pricing, quality, and delivery.
Negotiate commercial terms, payment conditions, lead times, and Incoterms.
Coordinate import, shipping, customs, and required documentation.
Monitor international markets, prices, FX impact, and supply risks.
Analyze landed costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate ERP records.
Lead and develop the foreign procurement team.
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
7–10 years of experience in procurement, with strong experience in foreign/import procurement.
Previous supervisory or Section Head experience is preferred.
Manufacturing, textile, garment, or industrial experience is an advantage.
Professional procurement/supply chain certification is a plus.
