Clinic Manager
As Clinic Manager, you will own the commercial results of multiple clinics. You are accountable for hitting targets, closing gaps and growing the business, and for ensuring operational excellence, which is critical to the patient experience. You will mobilise and coach your clinic teams to turn plans into results, and partner with our physicians so every patient enjoys a seamless, welcoming journey from booking to follow-up.
Job Responsibilities
Commercial ownership
- Own the targets for your clinics (revenue, patient volume, new vs. returning patients, retention, package conversion, utilisation, average spend per patient etc), and review performance with the Area Clinic Manager.
- Track performance and business trends closely. Review data regularly, diagnose why you are ahead or behind, and act early.
- Support ACM in collaboration with the HQ multi-functional team (MFT), providing regular, insightful updates, data-driven recommendations, and proactively identifying opportunities and challenges.
- Bring ideas from the ground, collaborate with MFT to align priorities, secure necessary support, and ensure seamless execution of initiatives that drive both top and bottom-line results. (e.g. promotions, campaigns, packages, partnerships and community activities). Measure the return on every initiative, and refine or stop what isn’t working.
- Proactively propose, monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, operations, patient satisfaction, and cost efficiency, leveraging data to inform strategic decision-making and course correction.
Team leadership
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to clinic teams: Set clear targets and priorities for your teams of consultants, therapists and front-desk staff, and translate plans into daily actions.
- Engage, motivate and hold your teams accountable for execution so as to achieve seamless daily operation. Coach and develop them, and run regular performance reviews.
- Plan rosters and manage manpower and productivity so capacity matches demand; Collaborate with physicians on scheduling and patient flow (Clinical decisions remain with the physicians).
- Foster team mindset for strong collaboration and continuous improvement by identifying, prioritizing, and implementing process enhancements and best practices across all clinic operations.
- Establish a positive culture of accountability, high performance, excellent execution and patient-centric mentality, as well as open communication and mutual respect.
- Be present at each clinic regularly to lead from the front.
- Involvement in hiring, plan for staff onboarding and training; run regular performance reviews and feedback.
Operations and patient experience
- Keep daily operations running smoothly across your clinics, by partnering internal stakeholders such as clinic operations and workplace services (e.g. inventory, purchasing, equipment maintenance and repairs etc).
- Ensure excellent execution of (i) clinic marketing activities & (ii) service protocols consistently across clinics, with continual focus on improving the patient journey from booking to follow-up.
- Act as the escalation point for complex patient feedback and resolve issues with empathy and professionalism; Engage internal stakeholders (e.g. Customer Success team) to provide patients with feasible win-win resolutions.
- For new clinic openings and renovation projects (if any), partner MFT to plan and execute for timely completion. Responsible for optimization of new/renovated clinics’ performance post-launch.
Compliance and governance
- Make sure clinic operations comply with Singapore regulations and company policy, including MOH/TCM Practitioners Board requirements, workplace safety, and the PDPA for patient data.
- Maintain accurate records and report incidents, audits and risks promptly.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or higher in business, healthcare management, hospitality or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing teams in a target-driven role in healthcare, wellness, retail, F&B or services. Multi-site management experience is a plus.
- Strong commercial acumen: A proven track record of hitting revenue or sales targets and closing performance gaps, with concrete results you can share. Comfortable with KPIs, P&L and business trends; able to translate data into decisions.
- Experience designing and running practical promotions or business plans, and measuring their impact.
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets: Data, reporting and analytics. Experience with clinic management or booking systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication in English, Conversational Mandarin will be an advantage, given our patient base.
- Able to travel between clinics and work flexible hours, including weekends.
