Cold Room Production Butcher

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cold Room Production Butcher to join our production team. The role involves preparing, cutting and packing meat products while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene and workplace safety.

Job Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, debone and portion meat according to product specifications.
• Prepare meat products based on customer and production orders.
• Weigh, pack, vacuum-seal and label products correctly.
• Check product quality before packing and report any concerns immediately.
• Follow proper food-handling, storage and cold-chain procedures.
• Operate knives, cutting equipment and other production tools safely.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment and production areas.
• Follow company hygiene, safety and Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
• Assist with stock arrangement and other production duties when required.
• Follow instructions from the Production Manager and supervisors.

Job Requirements

• Previous butchery, meat-processing or food-production experience is preferred.
• Basic knife-handling and meat-cutting skills are an advantage.
• Comfortable working in a cold-room environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive production tasks.
• Physically able to carry out the duties safely, including handling cartons and meat products.
• Willing to perform cleaning duties as part of the role.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow the assigned work roster.
• Good attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work as part of a team.
• Able to follow food-hygiene and workplace-safety procedures.
• Food Safety Course Level 1 certification is an advantage.
• Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Singapore.
