Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the site in the HSE/PSM culture in the campaign to reduce injuries and incidents to zero.
  2. Define the necessary indicators to take the HSE/PSM culture to excellence.
  3. Support operational leaders in HSE/PSM aspects.
  4. Lead the coordination of Orbia/VESTOLIT standards.
  5. Comply with the applicable standards of the integral system (SARI, ISO 14001, 45001, among others that form part of the Organization) to achieve objectives and other systems that may be required by the business.
  6. Manage and lead federal, state, and local security programs (i.e., C-TPAT (security standards for vinyl products/import/export, Vinyl+).
  7. Supervise and direct emergency response activities to ensure adequate training and preparedness of internal and external first response teams at all sites.
  8. Direct the safety professionals of the facilities and plants in establishing the direction and content of HSE and PSM programs, training, trend analysis, and implementation of best practices.
  9. Support the VESTOLIT corporate initiative regarding EHS/PSM/sustainability, which includes participation in committees and technical teams (i.e., global sustainability, PSM MAP process, corporate safety standards, etc.).
  10. Direct, manage, and develop a team of direct reports, as indicated in the previous organizational chart, with the aim of eliminating injuries and hazardous material emissions to the environment.
  11. Support the company in the defined sustainability objective.
