Plant Layout, Piping & 3D Integration Engineering Lead F/H

Orano Mining is looking for a General Installation Manager to lead this discipline within its new internal engineering organization. You will ensure the design of general installations across the entire project portfolio, from conceptual studies to Detailed Engineering.

Your main missions

Lead the General Installation discipline

• Define methods, standards, and best practices.
• Develop design standards related to layouts, piping, and 3D modeling.
• Guarantee the quality and technical consistency of studies.

Conduct General Installation studies

• Lead engineering activities during the Concept Study, PFS, FS, and Detailed Engineering phases.
• Define layout philosophies and develop master plans.
• Guarantee the integration of safety, construction, operation, and maintenance requirements.

Lead the digital twin (3D Model)

• Define 3D modeling standards and supervise the development of the model.
• Guarantee consistency between the 3D model and all disciplines.
• Organize model reviews and ensure comments are addressed.

Coordinate piping studies

• Define design criteria for piping networks.
• Supervise piping studies and their integration into the 3D model.
• Guarantee the quality of layouts, routing, and maintainability.

Ensure technical coordination

• Coordinate Procédés, Mécanique, Génie Civil, Électricité, I&C, and Construction disciplines.
• Guarantee consistency between PFD, P&ID, layouts, and the 3D model.
• Lead multidisciplinary reviews and resolve interface issues.

Supervise external engineering

• Define technical requirements and supervise external studies.
• Verify the compliance of deliverables with Orano standards and international norms.

• Engineering degree in Génie Mécanique, Génie Industriel, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in general installations, piping, or engineering coordination.
• Experience in Concept Study, PFS, FS, and Detailed Engineering phases.
• Experience managing engineering companies (EPCM, EPC, or Owner's Engineering).
• Proficiency in 3D tools (AVEVA E3D, Smart 3D, Plant 3D, or equivalent).
• International experience is essential.
• Expertise in general installation design and 3D model coordination.
• Solid knowledge of industrial piping and reading PFD and P&ID.
• Technical leadership and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English is imperative.
