Electrical Engineering Lead (M/F)

As part of the scaling up of BU Mining projects, Orano Mining is creating a new internal engineering organization. We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Lead to manage the Electricity discipline across the entire project portfolio, from conceptual studies to Detailed Engineering.

Your main missions

Manage the Electricity discipline

• Define methods, standards, and best practices.
• Guarantee the quality and technical consistency of electrical solutions.
• Capitalize on lessons learned.

Conduct electrical studies

• Lead engineering activities during the Concept Study, PFS, DFS, and Detailed Engineering phases.
• Define electrical distribution philosophies.
• Develop and validate technical specifications.

Supervise external engineering

• Define the technical requirements of the services.
• Supervise and challenge the studies carried out by external engineering companies.
• Verify the compliance of deliverables.

Coordinate technical interfaces

• Ensure interfaces with other disciplines (Process, Mechanical, I&C, Civil Engineering).
• Participate in multidisciplinary reviews.

Support to operations

• Provide technical expertise to industrial sites.
• Contribute to improving the reliability and performance of installations.

Animation of the technical network

• Lead the Electricity community of the BU Mining.
• Share best practices and harmonize standards.

• Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial electrical engineering.
• Experience in project study phases (Concept, PFS, DFS, Detailed Engineering).
• Experience managing engineering companies (EPCM, EPC).
• International experience is essential.
• Mastery of international electrical standards (IEC, NFPA, IEEE).
• Technical leadership and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English is imperative.

Travel: Regular travel to industrial sites and abroad.
