Project Engineer System Integration System Architectures (m/f/d) military shipbuilding

For activities in a renowned company in Hamburg, we are looking for a Project Engineer System Integration System Architectures (m/f/d) for military shipbuilding at the earliest possible date.

Your Tasks

• Conception and system integration of complex IT systems for use on naval vessels
• Creation of construction, ordering, and system specifications for the responsible IT systems
• Participation in technical coordination and negotiations with customers, suppliers, and project partners
• Derivation of technical requirements as well as creation of test and verification documentation
• Participation in the creation of technical contract specifications
• Examination and evaluation of technical bid documents from suppliers
• Monitoring compliance with technical specifications by design and suppliers
• Examination of technical documentation and project documents
• Ensuring compliance with quality requirements and technical standards
• Cross-system coordination with internal specialist departments as well as external partners, customers, and consortium partners
• Familiarization with adjacent technical subject areas and support for interdisciplinary project teams
• Occasional national and international business trips in the project environment

Your Profile

• Successfully completed studies in Informatik, Elektrotechnik, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in the system design and integration of complex IT systems, especially in the area of interfaces to third-party systems
• Sound knowledge of modern IT systems, ideally in a military or maritime environment
• Very good knowledge of network topologies, server and storage infrastructures, virtualization technologies, as well as cloud architectures (e.g., VMware)
• Experience in the planning and implementation of complex IT infrastructures and system architectures
• Strong technical understanding as well as analytical and conceptual skills
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing
• Experience in the creation of construction and ordering specifications is an advantage
• Knowledge of maritime norms and standards is desirable
• Strong communication skills, teamwork skills, and a confident appearance in the international project environment
• Independent, structured, and responsible way of working
• Willingness for occasional national and international business trips
