RESPONSIBILITIES:

Integrated into the Client site, you will work within a company that is a major player in French land defense. Your main missions will be to ensure the proper maintenance of general accounting, guarantee the correct application of accounting and tax procedures, and respect account closing deadlines.

• Supervise general accounting (Payroll, stocks, provisions, taxes, Treasury...)
• Manage social & tax activities (declarations & payments) with the support of the John Cockerill Group Tax Department for taxes (tax return, Tax report, IS calculation, VAT declaration, DADS, CVAE...)
• Integration of the payroll journal entry, variable provisions, CP....
• Act as a referent for your scope to ensure the correct application of accounting and financial rules
• Validate technical accounting & tax points submitted by the Management Controllers
• Manage the monthly and annual closing process of general accounting and ensure that all general accounting data has been correctly interfaced with the group's consolidation system
• Ensure the preparation & production of financial documents (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, tax return,...)
• Contribute to various internal audits (John Cockerill, internal control), external (AFA, tax audit, ...)
• Prepare the local files (transfer pricing)
• Perform Customs declarations
• Optimize accounting management and processes
• Contribute to defining and improving monitoring tools and indicators

PROFILE SOUGHT:

Holding a Bac+5 in accounting, finance or taxation, you have at least 8 years of experience in a similar role, ideally acquired in the Defense sector. You have perfect mastery of the fields of accounting and taxation and are able to guarantee the application and compliance with the company's accounting procedures. You possess excellent knowledge of IFRS standards and are able to ensure their implementation as well as their compliance in financial operations. Advanced mastery of Excel is indispensable, particularly regarding lookup functions, analysis tables, and macros. Confirmed experience with ERP SAP and SAP S/4HANA is required to ensure the monitoring and management of accounting and financial activities. Finally, you have a professional level of English validated by a minimum score of 750 points on the TOEIC, or an equivalent level, allowing you to operate in an international environment.
