Workday Programme Manager (HR & Finance)

Location: London (Hybrid) Rate: Negotiable Contract Length: Initial 12 Months Start Date: 12/10/2026

The Opportunity

We are supporting a leading organisation embarking on a large-scale Workday transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Workday Programme Manager to lead the successful delivery of a complex Workday HR and Financials implementation. This is a high-profile programme with significant executive visibility, offering the opportunity to drive business transformation across both HR and Finance functions while managing multiple workstreams, stakeholders, system integrators, and third-party partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of a Workday HR and Financials implementation programme.
  • Oversee programme governance, planning, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.
  • Manage internal stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT, and senior leadership teams.
  • Coordinate activities between implementation partners, vendors, and internal project resources.
  • Ensure key programme milestones, dependencies, and deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Drive effective change management, user adoption, and business readiness activities.
  • Provide regular updates to steering committees and executive stakeholders.
  • Manage programme risks, issues, and escalations to successful resolution.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale Workday implementations as a Programme Manager.
  • Strong understanding of both Workday HR and Workday Financials programmes.
  • Experience managing complex enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management at C-suite and executive level.
  • Demonstrated success managing system integrators and third-party partners.
  • Strong knowledge of programme governance, budgeting, resource management, and delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
