Device Engineer (East Roving)

Employment Type: 2 Year contract (Renewable)

Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)

Location: East Roving

Eligibility: Singaporean ONLY (Security clearance needed)

Job Summary

Provide comprehensive IT support including asset management, troubleshooting, maintenance, and user training for computing devices across multiple sites, ensuring timely task completion and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage assets of infrastructure and computing devices to maintain accurate records and operational readiness
• Deliver computer support services including troubleshooting, patching, configuration, testing, and maintenance for supported software and hardware
• Collaborate effectively with third-party vendors to resolve technical issues and coordinate service delivery
• Train, coach, and orient users on proper use of computer devices to enhance user competence and reduce support requests
• Complete assigned helpdesk tasks promptly and to users’ satisfaction, ensuring high service quality
• Operate independently to manage workload and prioritize tasks without supervision
• Communicate clearly and professionally with users and stakeholders to facilitate problem resolution and service delivery
• Demonstrate proactiveness and initiative in identifying and resolving IT issues to minimize downtime
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously to maintain service levels and meet deadlines
• Apply problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical challenges efficiently
• Provide customer service that supports positive user experiences and satisfaction

Required competencies and certifications

• Higher Nitec in IT related qualification or Diploma in IT
• 0 - 2 years’ experience supporting computing devices in a similar technical capacity
• Proficiency in supporting Windows, iOS, and Android computing platforms
