Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• English Proficiency (mandatory B2+) 🗣️: You’ll collaborate with international teams, so strong written and spoken English is essential.
• Product ownership 📋:
• Own the product vision, roadmap and backlog for API and platform capabilities.
• Write clear epics, user stories and acceptance criteria, including API contracts, request and response examples, and error scenarios.
• Prioritize the backlog based on business value, technical dependencies and developer experience.
• Lead sprint ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews) as the voice of the customer.
• Accept or reject delivered work against the agreed definition of done.
• Own integration requirements with third-party systems, partners and internal services.
• Make sure API documentation, sandbox environments and onboarding guides are accurate and developer-friendly.
• Collect feedback from internal and external developers to improve usability and adoption.
• Support partner technical discussions and integration troubleshooting.
• Technical knowledge 💻:
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design.
• Ability to read and write OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Solid knowledge of HTTP methods, status codes, headers and JSON/XML data formats.
• Understanding of API security standards: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, API keys, TLS.
• Familiarity with API gateways and management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management).
• Basic understanding of microservices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and databases.
• Comfortable testing APIs with Postman, Insomnia or cURL.
• Able to read basic code (e.g., JavaScript, Python or Java). Writing production code code isn’t required.
• Problem-Solving 🧩: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to turn complex challenges into practical solutions.
• Communication & Ownership 🤝: Proactive approach, willingness to take ownership, and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
