About the company
Optimal HR Group, on behalf of a leading tourism and hospitality real estate company, is seeking a Facility Manager for permanent employment, for the company's facilities in Athens.
Your tasks
The position holder is responsible for the planning, coordination, and control of the maintenance activities of the properties managed by the company. They manage the technical staff of the Facility Management department and are responsible for their professional guidance as well as ensuring operational continuity.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for the planning, implementation, and development of the annual maintenance program for the properties
- Management of the technical staff of the Facility Management department
- Responsible for the planning, implementation, and development of the annual program of new, small-scale projects concerning the Group's properties, the preparation of the relevant investment budget, and its submission for approval
- Approval and control of the preventive and corrective maintenance program of electromechanical equipment and other building facilities to ensure their continuous and optimal operation and performance
- Responsible for conducting sample inspections of the scheduled regular visits to the Group's properties
- Participation in the contractor selection process with the Procurement Department
- Responsible for participating in the drafting, as well as monitoring the implementation of the control process, of maintenance contracts regarding technical matters as well as other terms
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Holder of a degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering from a polytechnic or technological school
- Experience in Facility Management
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar role or a mechanical engineer role with building facilities maintenance duties
- Very good knowledge of IT & ERP systems, BIM software (Autodesk Revit, Naviworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud)
- Very good knowledge of English (oral and written communication)
