Quality Control Assistant

Genuinely fantastic company in the heart of Esher require a QCA to verify and ensure that products received from suppliers match the specifications and requests on their purchase orders. Based in Esher Circa £28,000 Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week Excellent benefits package Job Description: Perform incoming inspections according to the control plan Check and update the ERP system the batch classification of the inspected material. Use the measuring tools accurately. Ensure that lots in the segregation area are traceable. Inform the Quality Management team in case of noncompliance of the material inspected. Undertake any other duties as may be required for the efficient running of the company Person Specification: Educated to a minimum of GCSE level in Maths and English. Proven experience in a similar role.. Able to read technical drawings. Knowledge of materials and surface finishing processes. Able to use manual tools for dimensional inspection. Experience working on an ERP system Basic knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. High accuracy and organisation skills. Team player with clear communication.
