As an After Sales Designer (m/f/d), you will be part of Optima Pharma. In this role, you will participate in the development and manufacture of intelligent turnkey filling solutions, including isolators and freeze dryers, for the pharma and biotech industries. Future-oriented, sustainable, and flexible.

• As an Automation Designer (m/f/d), you will examine and evaluate customer-specific service inquiries for our pharmaceutical machine systems.
• You will ensure timely, professional, and technical service for our international customers, including schedule and cost estimation.
• Acting as an interface, you will work proactively between the technical departments and Service Account Management to fully cover the subject areas of mechanics, electrical engineering, and automation.
• You will manage development and customer projects, support the technical departments with technical questions, and accompany them to customer appointments if necessary.
• You will share your knowledge with colleagues both in-house and decentralized and ensure sustainable developments, especially regarding the multiple uses of retrofits.
• Successfully completed studies or further training as a technician (m/f/d) in the fields of mechatronics, automation technology, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Ideally, you bring sound professional experience in the field of mechanical and plant engineering, preferably in the field of automation (Siemens S7 and Rockwell).
• We are also happy to give experienced electrical commissioning technicians with correspondingly comparable prior knowledge a chance.
• You can communicate very well with our customers in English, both spoken and written, and are happy to travel internationally occasionally (approx. 40 days per year).
