As Group Leader Software Development (m/f/d), you will be part of Optima Pharma. In this role, you will contribute to the development and manufacture of intelligent turnkey filling solutions, including isolators and freeze dryers, for the pharma and biotech industries. Future-oriented, sustainable, and flexible.

• You will assume technical and disciplinary leadership of a software team with a focus on agile, efficient, and motivating cooperation.
• You are responsible for the planning, prioritization, and successful implementation of software projects for pharmaceutical pilot plants and prototypes.
• Together with your team and in close cooperation with engineering teams, you will develop interdisciplinary mechatronic solutions as well as software architectures.
• You will ensure software quality and regulatory compliance, taking into account, for example, GAMP 5, FDA, CFR 21 Part 11, through tests, reviews, and verifications.
• You will manage innovation projects through close interface work with internal and external stakeholders, while observing budget and resources, and accompany the implementation until commissioning and complete documentation.
• You have a completed university degree in the fields of electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, or a comparable qualification.
• You enjoy applying your existing leadership experience to promote innovation and to lead your team efficiently and motivatingly.
• You already possess several years of professional experience in pharmaceutical special machinery and plant engineering and in dealing with regulatory requirements.
• A strong passion for innovation, an analytical mindset, as well as your strong social, conceptual, and interdisciplinary competence characterize you.
