Site Manager

we are a purely Peruvian company with more than 20 years of experience, dedicated to Construction and Maintenance services, both in the field of Mining and Civil Construction; we are looking for a Site Manager.

Job Description:

The person is responsible for the planning, administration, and control of the project execution. They will actively coordinate with other areas (safety, quality, technical office, administration) to achieve project execution within an adequate timeframe, at a cost that generates profitability, in accordance with the project plans and technical specifications, and complying with the client's standards and requirements. They are the primary person responsible at an operational level for the execution of the project, the administration of resources, and for assuming the direction of the staff to achieve it.

Academic Background:

• Professional Degree in Ingeniería Civil
• Professional Membership (Active/Habilitado) with a minimum of 05 years of seniority
• PMP (Project Management Professional) with a maximum seniority of 3 years (desirable)
• English language at a Basic level (technical English)

Professional Experience:

• General Experience: 14 years in construction works
• Specific Experience: 08 years as a Site Manager
• Similar Experience: 04 years in mining civil works projects

Basic Knowledge:

• Management Methodologies: Lean philosophy, Scrum, Fast track, Agile, Scrum, Kanban
• Knowledge of Mining works in general
• Leadership capacity and soft skills (certification desirable)
• Knowledge of SSO in mining and industry (min. 30h courses)

Tools / Software:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD / CivilCAD at an intermediate/advanced level
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Proficiency in S10, PowerCost, Primavera P6, MS Project software
• Proficiency in the Earned Value method (CV, SV, CPI, SPI)
• Proficiency in 3WLA scheduling

Job Functions:

• Attend meetings with the client
• Integral review of the project (compatibility)
• Operational direction of the project, daily meetings with the Staff
• Active coordination with the SSO, QAQC, OT, and Admin areas
• Project resource requirements
• Guarantee the internal control of the operability (physical and administrative) of the equipment
• Preparation of the final work plan and its modifications
• Preparation of final PETS procedures and their modifications
• Management of necessary documentation (permits, authorizations, etc.)
• Validate project RFIs, Valorizaciones, EDP, Schedule, etc.
• Provide physical progress information to the OT area
• Lead the preparation of Weekly and Monthly reports
• Management of the material advance file, direct advance
• Weekly validation of the Look ahead planning (3WLA)
• Validation of the analysis using the Earned Value method (weekly internal reports)
• Project control at the time and budget level (coordination with OT)
• Intermittent field supervision of activities
• Integral responsibility over the operation (operational level)
• Periodically inform project management about progress.

• Must reside in Arequipa.
• Availability to work in SMCV.
