Service Manager / Support Consultant (m/f/d)
Context of the Position To strengthen our Service Mgt. & Support team, we are looking for immediate support in the technical application operations for the products in our portfolio, especially OpenTAS Classic & Go. You will take over error analyses, configurations, and support international customers in their daily operations.
The products OpenTAS Classic & Go belong to the group of so-called Terminal Management Systems. Therefore, this is not classic IT support, but rather an application for a technically quite specialized industry. As a Service Manager or Support Consultant, both functional AND technical know-how is therefore required, which new employees usually acquire during an induction phase of at least 6 months.
For this position, a residence in Germany as well as very good German and English skills (spoken & written) are required.
Your Tasks Technical service and support for customers in project and operational environments Analysis and processing of complex support cases (especially 2nd Level) Working with relational databases using SQL Creation and analysis of reports with Crystal Reports or development and maintenance of APIs / interfaces Management and coordination of customer escalations Collaboration with internal teams (Development, Project, Operations)
Your Skills Very good SQL skills (mandatory) Substantial experience in Crystal Reports or API / interface development Professional experience in Oil & Gas or Chemistry, alternatively Logistics, or the willingness to undergo deep functional training Experience in customer contact (Service, Support, Project, or IT department) (mandatory) Experience with Terminal Management Systems (TMS) is a big plus but not a requirement Desirable but not a must: experience with the integration of terminal-relevant hardware (e.g., measuring, control, or identification systems) into an IT system landscape Empathic communication Structured & reliable way of working Training as a Fachinformatiker / Programmer or degree in Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, or comparable Experience in handling customer escalations, ideally in an international environment
Note: This is not an entry-level position; therefore, we especially look forward to applicants with at least 5-7 years of professional experience. Additionally, we would also explicitly like to encourage people aged 50+ to apply with us!

Remuneration
For this position, the salary range is €50,000 to €55,000 gross per year on a full-time basis. The specific classification within the salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, in particular relevant professional experience, qualifications, and competencies.
