SENIOR PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATE FOR PROJECTS AND ACCOUNTING AFFAIRS

Based on Articles 19, 28 and 29 of the Act on Civil Servants and Employees in Local and Regional Self-Government ("Narodne novine" number 86/08, 61/11, 04/18, 112/19 and 17/25 – further: the Act), the regulations of the Unified Administrative Department of the Municipality of Mače announce

ADVERTISEMENT

for admission to service for a fixed term

to replace a long-term absent civil servant

in the Unified Administrative Department of the Municipality of Mače – 1 executor for a fixed term – to replace a long-term absent civil servant until her return to work at the position of senior professional associate for projects and accounting affairs

General conditions for admission to service are:

– adulthood

– Croatian citizenship

– medical fitness to perform the duties of the position for which the person is being admitted

Special conditions for admission to service are:

• university graduate study or university integrated undergraduate and graduate study or professional graduate study in the field of economics
• at least 1 year of work experience in corresponding jobs

• passed state exam level II
• active knowledge of at least one foreign language

• computer literacy
• B category driver's license

Candidates of both sexes may apply equally to the Advertisement, and words and terms that have a gender meaning refer equally to both male and female gender, regardless of whether they are used in the masculine or feminine gender.

A person for whom there are obstacles to admission from Articles 15 and 16 of the Act on Civil Servants and Employees in Local and Regional Self-Government cannot be admitted to service.

Candidates who have not passed the state exam may also compete, who will, in the event of admission to service, be obliged to pass it in accordance with the law.

Along with the written application (request), applicants are obliged to attach the following documentation:

• hand-signed application
• CV
• proof of Croatian citizenship (copy of a valid ID card, passport, military ID, or certificate of citizenship) or Electronic Record from the Register of Citizens
• proof of the required level of education (copy of diploma, certificate, or attestation)
• proof of passed state exam (certificate or attestation)
• proof of total work experience (printout of the Electronic Record of data recorded in the registry of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute or Certificate of data recorded in the registry of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute)
• proof of work experience in corresponding jobs for a duration of at least 1 year, from which it is visible that the applicant performed jobs in the required professional level and field and the period in which they performed those jobs, and which work experience is recorded in the Electronic Record of data recorded in the registry of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute or Certificate of data recorded in the registry of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute (employment contract, decision, or employer's certificate)
• proof of possession of a B category driver's license (copy of a valid B category driver's license)
• hand-signed statement that there are no obstacles for the applicant from Articles 15 and 16 of the Act on Civil Servants and Employees in Local and Regional Self-Government

A candidate who has the right of preference for admission to service according to a special law is obliged in the application for the Advertisement to refer to that right and to attach all prescribed documentation regarding it and has preference over other candidates only under equal conditions.

A candidate who can exercise the right of preference in employment according to Article 101 of the Act on Croatian Defenders of the Homeland War and their family members (NN no. 121/17, 98/19 and 84/21), Article 48.f of the Act on the Protection of War Veterans and Civilian Victims of War (NN no. 33/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13 and 98/19), Article 47 of the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War (NN no. 84/21), Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (NN no. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20) is obliged in the application for the Advertisement to refer to that right and has preference over other candidates only under equal conditions. A candidate who refers to the right of preference in employment in accordance with Article 101 of the Act on Croatian Defenders of the Homeland War and their family members, along with the application for the Advertisement, is obliged to attach, in addition to proof of meeting the required conditions, all necessary evidence in accordance with the list on the Ministry of Croatian Veterans link: https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843. A candidate who refers to the right of preference in employment in accordance with Art. 48.f of the Act on the Protection of War Veterans and Civilian Victims of War and according to Article 47 of the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War, along with the application for the Advertisement, in addition to proof of meeting the required conditions, is also obliged to attach a decision, or a certificate from which the mentioned right is visible, a statement that they have not used the right of preference in employment on that basis so far, and proof of how their previous employment relationship with the last employer ended (decision, contract, agreement, etc.)

A candidate who refers to the right of preference in employment in accordance with Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities, along with the application for the Advertisement, is obliged, in addition to proof of meeting the required conditions, to attach also proof of established status as a person with a disability.

Requested documents may be attached as uncertified copies, and before selection, the candidate is obliged to present the requested documentation in original or certified copy.

The advertising procedure includes a preliminary check of knowledge and abilities through written testing and an interview. Candidates who meet the formal requirements from the Advertisement may access the preliminary check of knowledge and abilities. If the applicant does not attend the preliminary check, it is considered that they have withdrawn their application for the Advertisement. On the website of the Municipality of Mače https://www.opcina-mace.hr/ the job description and salary information for the position being filled by this Advertisement will be published, the method of performing the preliminary check of knowledge and abilities of candidates and from which area, as well as legal and other sources for preparing candidates for the preliminary check of knowledge and abilities. The Commission for the implementation of the Advertisement will determine the list of candidates who meet the formal requirements from the competition and will publish on the website https://www.opcina-mace.hr/ and on the Notice Board of the Municipality of Mače the place and time of the preliminary check of knowledge and abilities, at least 5 days before the holding.

Written applications for the Advertisement, with mandatory attachments, are submitted within 8 days from the day of publication of the Advertisement to the Croatian Employment Service at the address: Municipality of Mače, Commission for the implementation of the Advertisement for admission to service for a fixed term - to replace a long-term absent civil servant, with the note: "Advertisement for admission to service for a fixed term of the Senior Professional Associate for projects and accounting affairs", Mače 30, 49251 Mače. A regular application is considered an application that contains all data and all attachments specified in the Advertisement. A person who has not submitted a timely and regular application or does not meet the formal requirements from the Advertisement is not considered a candidate applied for the Advertisement and will be notified of the same in writing. The candidate who is selected will be called to, within an appropriate period, and before the decision on admission to service, submit a certificate from the competent court that no criminal proceedings are being conducted against them and a certificate of medical fitness to perform the duties of the position, and to submit for inspection the original proofs of meeting the formal requirements from the Advertisement, with a warning that failure to provide the requested documents is considered a withdrawal from admission to service. In the application for the Advertisement, the personal data of the applicant (name and surname, residence address, telephone number, e-mail address, etc.) are stated exclusively for the purposes of the procedure and will not be used for other purposes. By submitting the application for the Advertisement, applicants confirm that they are familiar with the Ordinance on the processing and protection of personal data of the Municipality of Mače, which was prepared based on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in which the handling of the applicant's personal data is detailed, and by submitting the application for the Advertisement, consent for the collection of personal data is expressed.

Candidates will be informed of the results of the Advertisement by public publication of the decision on the admission to service of the selected candidate on the website of the Municipality of Mače https://www.opcina-mace.hr/

Delivery of the decision to all candidates is considered completed upon the expiry of the eighth day from the day of public publication of the decision on the website of the Municipality of Mače https://www.opcina-mace.hr/
