BUS DRIVER

Operate a bus safely and efficiently along planned routes and schedules. Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations. Ensure the safety of passengers, particularly children (for school bus drivers) or individuals with disabilities, while boarding and alighting. Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, checking tires, lights, brakes, oil levels, and other essential components. Keep the bus clean and presentable. Collect fares or manage fare transactions (for transit drivers). Provide information to passengers regarding routes, schedules, and transfer points. Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues to dispatch or management. Maintain order and address disciplinary problems if applicable (for school bus drivers) Assist passengers with loading and unloading baggage (for intercity or charter drivers).
