Your tasks
At One World International School (OWIS), you will educate and inspire students from diverse cultural backgrounds by delivering rigorous curricula aligned with IB PYP, Cambridge IGCSE, and IBDP standards. You will contribute to a dynamic learning environment that fosters innovation and leadership.
- Design, prepare, and deliver lessons that build foundational knowledge and advanced techniques to enhance student understanding across Secondary, IGCSE, and IB Diploma levels
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly, set measurable improvement goals, and communicate outcomes through detailed reports and parent meetings
- Lead and participate in extra-curricular activities, school events, assemblies, staff training, and collaborative meetings to enrich the school community
- Promote and enforce health and safety standards within assigned classes to ensure a secure learning environment
- Apply inquiry-based learning methodologies to engage students and foster critical thinking and curiosity
Requirements
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a recognized teaching qualification certificate
- Demonstrate a minimum of two (2) years of full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher
- Exhibit strong subject matter expertise and teaching experience at Secondary, IGCSE, and IBDP levels
- Maintain high proficiency in spoken and written English
- Demonstrate ICT literacy relevant to teaching responsibilities
- Comply with child protection screening and provide a Police Verification Check from country of residence
