The Role The Head of Operations will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operational performance of the club, ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for members, guests, and staff across all areas of the business. The role will oversee club operations, facilities, events, operational systems, AV, projects, and external service providers, while ensuring consistently high standards of service, presentation, safety, and operational efficiency.  Key Responsibilities: Club Operations & Member Experience Oversee day-to-day club operations, ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for members and guests across all areas.

Maintain strong operational, service, and presentation standards across the club.

Maintain a strong floor presence, proactively identifying and resolving operational issues and opportunities to improve the member experience.

Work closely with department heads and staff to align operational priorities and ensure effective execution.

Events & Entertainment Lead the planning and execution of private functions, member events, themed parties, and club-wide activations, including logistics, setup, décor, entertainment, AV, guest flow, and on-the-day operations.

Support live entertainment and after-hours activations, including DJs, bands, and performers, ensuring appropriate technical and operational support.

Coordinate closely with F&B, Membership, Programming, Events, and other departments to ensure smooth planning, communication, and execution.

Facilities, AV & Projects Oversee club facilities, operational systems, AV requirements, and overall operational readiness.

Lead new operational projects and spaces, including sourcing materials, coordinating contractors, and managing execution from planning through completion.

Oversee podcast room operations and coordinate closely with the operating partner.

Ensure appropriate AV support is available for events and club activities.

Vendor & Commercial Management Lead vendor and contractor relationships, including sourcing competitive costings, negotiating contracts and renewals, reviewing service agreements, and securing favourable commercial terms.

Evaluate vendors based on cost, quality, service levels, and suitability, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.

Monitor vendor performance and ensure services are delivered to agreed standards, scope, timelines, and commercial terms.

Team Leadership Lead and support the operations team, setting clear priorities, fostering accountability, and ensuring effective resource planning and execution.

Build a proactive, solutions-oriented team culture focused on operational excellence and member service.

Work collaboratively with management and department heads to resolve operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B, hospitality, club operations, or a related environment, with experience managing complex day-to-day operations.

Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with members, staff, management, contractors, and external vendors.

Proven experience in contract negotiation, vendor management, procurement, and sourcing, with a focus on securing competitive pricing and favourable commercial terms.

Basic AV knowledge and hands-on technical ability, with the confidence to support and troubleshoot basic event AV requirements.
